The new ALUCOBOND® App “Augmented Reality” makes the physical product documentation of ALUCOBOND® come to life by additional video content that can be played when looking through the camera of your tablet PC.
Augmented reality (AR) is a live view of a physical, real-world environment whose elements are augmented by computer-generated sensory input such as sound, video, graphics or GPS data. As a result, the technology functions by enhancing one’s current perception of reality. With the help of advanced AR technology the information about the surrounding real world of the user becomes interactive and digitally manipulable. Artificial information about the environment and its objects can be overlaid on the real world.

With the new App, ALUCOBOND® uses specific trigger images from their documentation, such as construction details, that become interactive thanks to the construction animations that are overlaid.
An even deeper understanding of the processing and construction methods for ALUCOBOND® can thus be transferred to all interested parties.
